ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al-Jubail awarded Sinosteel MECC an EPC contract for a heat treatment and finishing line capacity expansion project in Saudi Arabia, with Tenova supplying technology.

Northern Minerals signed a memorandum of understanding with Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. to build a 60,000 tonnes per annum pilot plant for the Browns Range rare earths mine in Western Australia, with Sinosteel MECC deferring AUD$12 million of the $60 million cost.

Northern Minerals signed a non-binding MoU with Sinosteel MECC to serve as EPC contractor for the A$60 million Browns Range Pilot Plant in Western Australia. Construction is expected to commence in early 2017. Sinosteel MECC will defer 20% of payments for 24 months with a right to convert into Northern Minerals shares.
