Strandline Resources awarded major contracts for its Coburn mineral sands project in Western Australia: Contract Power Australia for a 32MW hybrid power station, Macmahon Holdings for $23 million in civil works, Piacentini & Son for $21 million in mobile dozer mining units, and Primero Group for the core processing plant.

Strandline Resources awarded a A$23-million contract to Macmahon for construction of road access and bulk earthworks at the Coburn mineral sands project in Western Australia.

Piacentini & Son has been awarded the mining contract for the Mt Cattlin spodumene project near Ravensthorpe, Western Australia. Mining is set to start in early December. Piacentini will provide equipment including an Hitachi 1900 excavator and Caterpillar 777D dump trucks.
