ACWA Services Ltd. was awarded a design and build subcontract from Doosan Enpure Ltd. for a liquor treatment plant using Amtreat technology at Severn Trent's Strongford wastewater treatment site in Staffordshire, UK.

ACWA Services Ltd is involved in three new design and build contracts for nitrate removal plants in the UK, worth in excess of £3 million, including a new system for Cambridge Water at Fowlmere water treatment works.

ACWA Services secured three design and build contracts worth over £3 million for nitrate removal plants using its Nitreat technology, including a project for Cambridge Water at Fowlmere WTW. The Fowlmere plant will treat 5,400 m³ per day and is expected to be completed in June 2018.

ACWA Services completed a £1.7 million ammonia removal plant for United Utilities at the Leigh Wastewater Treatment Works in Greater Manchester. The plant uses ACWA's Amtreat technology to treat sludge liquors.
