Toromont to acquire Caterpillar dealer Hewitt Group for C$1.02 billion
Toromont Industries agreed to buy privately held Hewitt Group, operator of 45 Caterpillar dealerships in Quebec, the Maritimes, Labrador West and Ontario, for about C$1.02 billion in cash and shares, expected to close by mid-October.
