Komatsu Mining Corp.

Komatsu Mining Corp. announced plans to build a new, state-of-the-art headquarters and manufacturing campus in Milwaukee's Harbor District, investing nearly $300 million. The 2.5 million-square-foot South Harbor Campus is expected to be completed in 2022.

Executives and elected officials celebrated the official launch of Komatsu Mining Corp., a global mining equipment and services company operating as a subsidiary of Komatsu Ltd.

Komatsu completed its $3.7 billion acquisition of Joy Global, renaming it Komatsu Mining Corp. Joy Global shares will be delisted, and the company's headquarters will remain in Milwaukee.
