North American Forgemasters

The U.S. Department of Defense awarded a potential $31 million investment to North American Forgemasters under the Defense Production Act Title III to sustain production of metal forging products for the U.S. Navy and Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.

Ellwood Group Inc. and Scot Forge are investing over $80 million to add a 90 MN (10,100 ton) open die press at North American Forgemasters in New Castle, PA. The press will be built by Danieli Breda and is expected to start production in Q1 2015.
