AT&S

Hanmi Semiconductor signed a KRW 970 million contract to supply semiconductor manufacturing equipment to AT&S (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. The contract runs until May 31, 2019.

AT&S is investing approximately EUR 40 million to expand technology and capacity for high-frequency printed circuit boards at its existing sites in Nanjangud, India and Fehring, Austria. Production is set to start in May 2018 in India and March 2019 in Austria.

AT&S is ramping up two new plants in Chongqing, China, for high-end printed circuit boards and IC substrates. The ramp-up of plant 1 is flatter than expected due to process optimizations.
