Yokogawa Middle East and Africa

Yokogawa Middle East and Africa has received an order from the Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority (AAWSA) for an integrated SCADA system to monitor and control water supply facilities in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Project completion is expected in early 2025.

BP Oman has extended a life cycle support agreement with Yokogawa Middle East & Africa for five years, covering remote contract management and call centre support for Block 61, including the Khazzan and Ghazeer projects.

Adnoc signed framework agreements with Emerson Process Management Distribution Limited, Yokogawa Middle East & Africa, ABB Transmission & Distribution Limited, Schneider Electric and Honeywell valued at AED2.6 billion ($708.5 million) for integrated control and safety systems, emergency shutdown systems, automation, control and monitoring.

El Wajh El Qibli for Electricity Production awarded letters of acceptance to Siemens for the electrical works package and to Yokogawa Middle East and Africa for the control and communication system package for the new 650 MW Al-Walidiyah steam unit.
