MacDon

MacDon, a subsidiary of Linamar Corporation, opened a new 15,000 sq.ft. research and development facility in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. The center will focus on agricultural harvesting equipment and is expected to grow from 10 to at least 20 employees over five years.

Linamar Corporation completed its acquisition of 100% of MacDon, a manufacturer of agricultural harvesting equipment based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Linamar Corp. announced a definitive agreement to buy 100% of MacDon and its group of companies for $1.2 billion. The deal is expected to close in Q1 2018.
