GWS Tool Group

GWS Tool Group announced the acquisition of Custom Carbide Corp (A/K/A Benchmark Carbide) of Springfield, Massachusetts. The acquisition adds Benchmark's standard high performance endmills to GWS Tool Group's offerings.

GWS Tool Group, LLC acquired Alliance CNC Cutter Grinding Services, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of tight tolerance drills, reamers, and micro-tools. Alliance CNC will continue operating from its facility in the Grand Rapids area.

GWS Tool Group, LLC, parent company of GWS Tool Group, has acquired Carbide Grinding Company, Inc of Chesterfield, Indiana. Carbide Grinding manufactures precision carbide, PCD and CBN tipped insert tooling for automotive, aerospace, power generation and medical sectors. The acquired company will continue operating under the brand CGI Tool.
