Ruhrpumpen has completed its acquisition of AC Fire Pump, effective July 2, 2026, strengthening its presence in the global fire protection pump market.
GE Power Conversion will supply 19 C7 Series electrical motors to power water-cooling tower pumps made by Ruhrpumpen for the Dos Bocas refinery in Mexico. The refinery is expected to start commercial operation in late 2022.
Hayward Tyler, a subsidiary of Avingtrans, signed a license agreement under which Ruhrpumpen will exclusively manufacture, sell and service Westinghouse vertical pumps and Babcock & Wilcox industrial pumps. The deal targets conventional power and industrial markets.
