Kitagawa Iron Works

Kitagawa Iron Works has acquired all remaining shares of its Mexican subsidiary Kitagawa Mexico from Nippon Steel Trading, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. The acquisition was completed in September 2023.

Kitagawa Iron Works announced the expansion of its foundry plant in Aguascalientes, Mexico, which will start operations in January 2018. The expansion will double production capacity to 1,400 tons of castings per month and create 100 new jobs, bringing total employment to approximately 550.
