Czech dairy Chocenská Mlékárna invested in six Stäubli robots (four TS60 Scara and two RX160 six-axis) for secondary packaging, achieving up to 20,000 yogurt cups per hour. The line was installed by integrator TMT with minimal production downtime.

Stäubli Group acquired a 70% stake in WFT GmbH & Co. KG, a German specialist in special purpose machines and mobile platforms. The factory in Sulzbach-Rosenberg will become part of Stäubli's global production network.

Stäubli, having inaugurated a new showroom in July 2017, plans a further extension at its Faverges-Seythenex site in France to support growth in robotics, and aims to hire 100 people.
