Olymel has officially inaugurated its expanded integrated pork and poultry processing plant in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, a C$142 million modernization that more than quadrupled capacity and created roughly 100 jobs.
Olymel is spending $8.1 million to expand its La Fernandière plant in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, doubling its surface area and raising yearly production capacity from 14 to nearly 20 million kg. Completion is scheduled for December 2017.
