Multi-Color Corporation, a Cincinnati-based label maker, agreed to be acquired by an affiliate of Platinum Equity for $50.00 per share, in a transaction valued at $2.5 billion including $1.5 billion of debt. The deal was announced on 25 February 2019.
Constantia Flexibles completed the sale of its labels division to Multi-Color Corp. for an enterprise value of about EUR 1.15 billion (approximately USD 1.3 billion), with Constantia receiving about EUR 830 million in cash and keeping a 16.6% stake in Multi-Color.
