Morris Material Handling SA

ArcelorMittal South Africa awarded Morris Material Handling SA a tender to design, manufacture and install a 100-ton engineered slab handling crane at its Vanderbijlpark Works. The crane will operate at the Hot Strip Mill.

Morris Cranes has supplied and installed ABUS electric overhead traveling cranes, pillar jibs and chain hoists at Sandvik's newly opened Central African facility in Kitwe, Zambia.

Morris Cranes, a division of Morris Material Handling SA, supplied and installed lifting equipment at Caterpillar's new 56,000 m² replacement parts distribution centre in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. The equipment was supplied in two phases and includes jib cranes, double girder cranes, and lifting systems.

Morris Material Handling SA has been awarded a contract by the City of Cape Town to supply two heavy-duty M8 class container handling portal cranes for the Athlone Refuse Transfer Station and Vissershok Landfill site.

Morris Cranes, agent of ABUS Kransysteme in South Africa, supplied 18 double-girder EOT cranes to Efficient Engineering Pty Ltd for its Phase IV and V expansion in Johannesburg. The cranes have load capacities from 10 to 100 tonnes.
