Symmedia GmbH

GF Machining Solutions, a machine tool manufacturer, will acquire Symmedia GmbH, a software provider specializing in machine connectivity systems, to expand its digitalization portfolio.

Georg Fischer (GF) acquired 100% of German software company Symmedia GmbH, which provides software for machine networking. Symmedia, based in Bielefeld with 60 employees, will be integrated into GF's Machining Solutions division. Financial details were not disclosed.
