Holroyd Precision

Holroyd Precision Rotors, a division of PTG, opened a new production cell in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to supply compressor screw rotors to North American industrial air, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment producers. The facility was the result of a $12 million investment.

NETZSCH, a manufacturer of pumping technologies, purchased a Zenith 400 helical profile grinding machine from Holroyd Precision. The machine will be installed at NETZSCH's facility in Brazil in early 2018 to produce pump screws.

Holroyd Precision has received an order from a Chinese air compressor manufacturer for an 8EX rotor milling machine and a CS700E tool management center. The combined order is valued at several million pounds and is scheduled for shipping in March 2019.

Holroyd Precision has sold two of its newly developed 4EX-R-BL CNC profile milling machines to a leading European manufacturer of compressed air systems. The machines, built in Rochdale, UK, can mill both helical rotors and Roots-type blower components.
