IMC International Metalworking Companies

IMC International Metalworking Companies B.V. signed a joint venture agreement to acquire a 51% stake in NTK Cutting Tools Co., Ltd from NGK Spark Plug Co., Ltd. The transaction is expected to close on April 3, 2023.

NGK Spark Plug (Japan Special Ceramics) signed a basic agreement with IMC International Metalworking Companies of the Netherlands for a capital and business alliance in the machine tool business.

NGK SPARK PLUG CO., LTD. signed an MOU with IMC International Metalworking Companies B.V. to form a joint venture for their cutting tools business. IMC will hold 51% and NGK 49% of NTK CUTTING TOOLS Co., LTD.

Niterra (Japan Special Ceramics) signed a basic agreement with IMC International Metalworking Companies to form a joint venture by merging Niterra's machine tool business into subsidiary NTK Cutting Tools, with IMC holding 51% and Niterra 49%.

Larsen & Toubro announced it will sell its entire stake in L&T Cutting Tools to IMC International Metalworking Companies, owned by Berkshire Hathaway, for Rs 174 crore.
