Industrial Magnetics, Inc. has acquired Walker Magnetics Group, Inc., North America's oldest industrial magnet manufacturer. The deal brings together two industry leaders, with IMI marking its 60th anniversary and Walker having been in business for 125 years.

Industrial Magnetics, Inc. acquired substantially all assets of Walker Magnetics Group, Inc., North America's oldest industrial magnet manufacturer, based in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Industrial Magnetics, Inc. is constructing a new 1,400 sq. ft. R&D lab at its facility for simulated application testing of magnetic products. The lab is near completion and will feature testing equipment for holding, lifting, automation, conveying, and magnetic separation.
