Boart Longyear

American Industrial Partners completed its purchase of Boart Longyear, a provider of drilling services and equipment, through a court-approved plan of arrangement. Boart Longyear is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Boart Longyear subsidiary Veracio has entered a binding agreement to acquire all shares in drill core scanning specialist Minalyze for US$29.3 million. Completion is scheduled for September 20, 2023.

Boart Longyear's manufacturing plant in Wroclaw, Poland completed its largest order ever for twelve LF160 drill rigs and FREEDOM Loaders to be delivered to Mitchell Services Limited in Australia.

Boart Longyear is expanding its technology development activity at the NORCAT Underground Centre in Sudbury, Ontario, in conjunction with the opening of NORCAT's new surface facilities.

Boart Longyear Drilling Services won a multi-site drilling contract with Phu Bia Mining, a PanAust Limited subsidiary in Laos, covering all drilling at the Phu Kham Copper-Gold Operation and the Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver Operation. The contract includes grade control, horizontal drilling, surface coring, reverse circulation drilling, piezometer and water bore work.
