Farabi Petrochemicals Company

Farabi Petrochemicals signed a new memorandum of understanding with Unilever to expand their long-standing global supply arrangement for LAB, aligning Farabi's increased capacity with Unilever's growing demand for home care products.

Farabi Petrochemicals commenced operations at its fourth integrated Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) plant in Yanbu Industrial City, Saudi Arabia, on September 22, 2025. The $950 million facility adds 120,000 metric tons of annual LAB capacity.

Honeywell UOP will provide technologies, catalysts, and services for a new complex in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, to expand Farabi Petrochemicals Company's production of biodegradable detergents. The complex is expected to be completed in 2020.
