Network Rail has ordered seven Stoneblower track geometry machines from Harsco Rail. Delivery will start in late 2019 and take two years to complete, replacing units in use for over 20 years.

Harsco Rail won a contract from Network Rail to supply seven Stoneblower track maintenance machines, including a long-term spare parts and software support agreement, with delivery scheduled over two years from late 2019.

Harsco Rail announced sales of rail grinders to RailWorks Corp., with a third unit entering service in November and a potential fourth unit sale anticipated in the first half of 2017, with combined value approaching $20 million.
