Fives Landis Corp.

Fives Giddings & Lewis, a Fond du Lac manufacturer of machining centers, has announced capital equipment purchases including a large universal grinding machine from Fives Landis Corp. and a large 5-axis gantry machine from Liné Machines. The grinding machine is scheduled for delivery in late 2026, and the gantry is expected to begin production in Q4 2026. Facility upgrades include removing older buildings and adding LED lighting.

Fives Landis Ltd. has secured a large order for 5 Landis LT2e and 4 Landis LT2He grinding machines to manufacture camshafts and crankshafts for a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer. The machines will be installed in plants in Western Europe and South America.

Fives Landis Corp. opened a 6,000-square-foot Technology Center at its production plant in Hagerstown, Maryland, featuring high precision grinding systems. The facility supports R&D and demonstrations.
