Shaanxi Fast Gear

Eaton and Shaanxi Fast Gear formed a joint venture to develop, manufacture, sell and service light-duty manual transmissions for Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe and Africa. The JV will be based in Baoji City, China, with SFGW owning 51% and Eaton 49%.

Chongqing Machine Tool Group signed a contract with Shaanxi Fast Gear (Fast Gear) for nine YS3126CNC6 high-speed dry gear hobbing machines. This is the first batch sale of Chinese-made dry hobbing machines to a major automotive gear manufacturer.
