Gasum

Valmet secured a contract from Gasum to supply automation solutions for a new biogas facility in Lohja, Finland. The plant will process 60,000 tonnes of biowaste and produce over 40 GWh of biogas and 50,000 tonnes of organic fertilizers annually.

Valmet Oyj will supply automation solutions for Gasum's liquefied natural gas (LNG) operations in the Nordic countries, enabling centralized data collection and control for Gasum's subsidiary Skangas. The order is included in Valmet's Q2 2017 orders received.

Valmet will supply basic automation engineering for Gasum's LNG terminal operations in the Nordic countries, with the engineering phase starting immediately and finishing in early May 2017.
