DB Cargo selected Eurotech to supply BoltGATE 20-25 IoT Edge Gateways and software for its TechLOK project, equipping at least 450 locomotives with real-time monitoring.

Siemens and DB Cargo AG signed a framework agreement for the delivery of 100 locomotives, with an initial call for 60 Vectron multisystem locomotives to serve on the Rhine-Alpine Corridor.

DB Cargo awarded Siemens a six-year contract to install condition-based predictive maintenance systems on 152 Series Eurosprinter ES64F trains and Vectron locomotives. Siemens will install telemetric systems and connect them with DB Cargo's TechLOK system.

Siemens received an order from TenneT TSO to supply the technology for the DolWin6 offshore grid connection in the German North Sea. The order is valued in the high three-digit millions euros range, with commercial commissioning scheduled for 2023.

DB Cargo and GE Transportation signed an agreement to digitize 250 locomotives across Germany, UK, France and Poland over five years, GE's first European digital contract.
