Comara

German tooling specialist Walter AG acquired Comara, owner of the 'appCom' cloud platform. The acquisition expands Walter's digital portfolio and enables production of 'Smart Tools' using real-time data.

Walter AG has joined with software partner Comara to create a new company under joint leadership, with Walter holding a majority stake. The joint venture will focus on smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 solutions, including connectivity and real-time data systems.
