ABB India wins INR 134 crore traction equipment order for Indian Railways
ABB India has won an order worth INR 134 crore to supply traction converters, auxiliary converters and vehicle control units for 64 electric locomotives manufactured by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works. The equipment will be locally manufactured at ABB's Nelamangala plant in Bengaluru.

BHEL wins Rs 200 crore order from Indian Railways for traction converters
BHEL received an order worth Rs 200 crore from Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) to supply 118 sets of IGBT-based traction converters for 3-phase 6,000 HP electric locomotives. The converters will be manufactured at BHEL's electronics division in Bengaluru.
