AES Gener

EDF Group, in a joint venture with AME, finalized the acquisition of 750 MW of flexible generation capacity from AES Gener, including the Nueva Renca combined-cycle plant and three combustion turbines.

GE Power Services will overhaul steam turbines and generators at four thermal power plants in Chile under a multi-year contract with AES Gener. The first project is underway at the 264 MW Nueva Tocopilla gas-fired plant.

AES Gener has signed a multiyear agreement with GE's Power Services to overhaul up to nine steam turbines and generators at four thermal power plants in Chile. The first project began in September 2016.
