HDT Global

HDT Global has acquired the business assets of Terra Group Corporation, manufacturer of TECWAR water purification, storage and distribution systems. The product line will transition to HDT's Florence, Kentucky facility.

HDT Global acquired Berg Companies, Inc., a Spokane, Washington-based manufacturer of shelter systems, fuel and water systems, and power management solutions. The acquisition adds two facilities in Spokane.

HDT Global has received a $66.6 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to provide 19 transporter erector vehicles and spare parts for the Transporter Erector Replacement Program. Work will take place in Ohio and Kentucky through December 2020.

TFab Defense Systems, a subsidiary of Tyonek Manufacturing Group, was awarded a $110 million contract by the U.S. Army to produce Improved Environmental Control Units (IECU). The units will be manufactured in Madison, Alabama, and Solon, Ohio, in partnership with HDT Global and Rocky Research.

HDT Global has acquired the DRS Environmental Systems business and assets. No financial details were disclosed.

HDT Global is transitioning its Buena Vista, VA manufacturing operations to a new facility adjacent to its Huntsville, AL facility, creating over 120 jobs. The company also announced the opening of a new HDT Battle Lab and Advanced Development (BLADE) Center in Spotsylvania, VA.
