Yunnan Xinyao

Yunnan Xinyao signed a $194.4 million contract to supply 180,000 four-inch N-type InP semiconductor substrates to Applied Optoelectronics, with a five-year framework targeting 900,000 units by 2031.

Yunnan Germanium's subsidiary Yunnan Xinyao signed a long-term supply agreement with AOI to supply 180,000 pieces per year from 2027 to 2031, totaling 900,000 pieces of 4-inch N-type indium phosphide substrates. The 2027 contract amount is $194 million.
