VME, a Tyler, Texas fabrication and engineering firm, acquired Cortex Process Equipment to add field service and aftermarket support for well-site equipment.

VME has been awarded contracts for multiple modularized wellsite facilities for a multi-well pad drilling program in the Permian. Its North Texas fabrication facility will build the piping, pipe racks, separation and fluid transfer systems.
