Vistra closes acquisition of Cogentrix Energy with 5.5GW gas capacity
Vistra has closed the acquisition of Cogentrix Energy from Quantum Capital Group, adding 10 natural gas power plants with about 5.5GW capacity across PJM, ISO New England, and ERCOT markets.
