ACTOM subsidiary LH Marthinusen launched an industrial fan production facility in Germiston, Gauteng, costing R32 million. The fans will support Eskom's air pre-heater infrastructure.

Eskom, South Africa's state utility, published an award for the supply and delivery of twelve safety class valves for 12004 hardened water connection points at the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station, with a contract value of R146 million.
