Taerim Packaging, a Korean corrugated cardboard maker, began construction of 5.5MW roof-type solar power facilities at its Cheongwon Campus 1 and 2 in the Ochang 3rd Industrial Complex, Cheongju. The facilities are expected to generate about 7,026 MWh per year and cut about 3,220 tons of greenhouse gases annually.
Taerim Packaging, part of Global Seah Group, held a completion ceremony for its Cheongwon Campus 2 corrugated fabric factory in Ochang 3rd Industrial Complex, Cheongju, Korea. The 62 billion won plant can produce about 190 million square meters of corrugated fabric per year and began production in December 2023.
