Velan supplies over 1,000 valves for Preem's Lysekil refinery HCU project
Velan shipped a valve package of more than 1,000 valves to Preem's Lysekil refinery in Sweden for the Hydrothermal Cleanup Unit, which supports renewable diesel and SAF production. The order covers gate, globe and check valves in several materials.

Burckhardt Compression to supply compressors for Preem Lysekil renewable diesel unit
Burckhardt Compression was selected by Preem as compressor supplier for its Lysekil refinery in Sweden, supplying two API 618 process gas compressors for the Synsat and ICR renewable diesel unit. The revamp, with Topsoe as process licensor, is scheduled to be fully rebuilt by 2024 and supports up to 1,000,000 standard cubic meters per year of renewable diesel.

Topsoe selected as technology provider for Preem renewable fuels plant in Lysekil
Topsoe signed a licensing and engineering agreement with Preem to supply its HydroFlex technology for producing sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel at Preem's Lysekil refinery in Sweden. The revamped refinery is expected to start operating in 2027.
