McElroy Manufacturing partners with Asahi/America on thermoplastic pipe fusion tools and training
McElroy Manufacturing, a maker of thermoplastic fusion equipment, announced a strategic partnership with Lawrence, Massachusetts-based thermoplastic valve and pipe maker Asahi/America, providing a tool fleet for butt and socket fusion of pipe up to 630 mm plus an online welding certification system expected in early 2024.

Asahi/America opened its newly constructed 59,000-square-foot fabrication facility in Paulina, Louisiana, for large-scale thermoplastic pre-fabrication. The facility operates as Asahi/America - PPI and was celebrated with a grand opening on June 1, 2023.
