TIPA Compostable Packaging, together with its European subsidiary Bio4Pack, announced the acquisition of SEALPAP, a maker of recyclable coated paper-based packaging. The deal aims to give brands both compostable and recyclable options ahead of new EU regulations. Financial terms were not disclosed.
TIPA Compostable Packaging acquired Bio4Pack, a European compostable packaging maker, on May 4, 2023. The deal adds paper packaging, trays and nets to TIPA's range and brings sales staff and warehousing in the Netherlands and Germany.
