Crown Beverage Packaging is starting up a new module at its Mankato aluminum can plant that should increase end-making capacity by 65%. The plant supplies customers including Pepsi, Coca-Cola and Schell's Beer.
Crown Beverage Packaging plans to build a solar array on a six-acre site north of its Mankato aluminum can plant, with construction planned for 2024. The project supports Crown Holdings' goal of 75% renewable electricity by 2030 and 100% by 2040.
