Vaillant Group to invest up to €2 billion in heat pump business expansion
Vaillant Group will invest up to €2 billion between 2016 and 2030 to expand its heat pump business, mainly in production and development capacity and HVAC partner services. The announcement was made on 14 March 2023 at the ISH trade fair in Frankfurt.

Vaillant Group is commissioning a 100,000 square metre factory in Senica, Slovakia, to manufacture electric heat pumps from May 2023, designed for 300,000 units per year. Almost one billion euros has been invested in heat pumps since 2016.

Vaillant is opening a new heat pump factory in a 129,000 sq ft unit at St Modwen Park Derby, expected to open in 2024 and creating more than 200 jobs. The site supports plans to more than double production of its aroTHERM plus air source heat pump.
