Henkel is acquiring Stahl for an enterprise value of €2.1 billion, buying the stakes held by Wendel, BASF and Clariant, to strengthen Stahl's specialty coatings for flexible materials. Completion is subject to closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

Stahl Group is set to acquire Weilburger Graphics, a coatings maker for flexible materials such as paper and cardboard, subject to the usual approvals. The deal strengthens Stahl's packaging coatings business in Europe and globally.

Netherlands-headquartered Stahl has agreed to acquire ICP Industrial Solutions Group, a packaging and labeling coatings business with about USD 140 million in expected 2022 sales. Stahl secured $580 million in new financing for the deal, with closing expected before the end of Q1 2023.
