Stora Enso has started a collaboration with Swedish laminator Oppboga Bruk to produce and market its Ensocoat 2S double-coated cartonboard for luxury packaging and high-quality graphics across Europe.

Tetra Pak and Axjo Group are working together on a planned recycling plant in Gislaved, Sweden, for polyAl layers from carton packaging, with up to 10,000 tonnes annual capacity. The collaborative investment is up to EUR 24 million, with operations expected from 2025.

Orkla launched chips packaging made with certified renewable polypropylene from SABIC's TRUCIRCLE portfolio, converted into BOPP film by Irplast. The partners say the solution halves the carbon footprint of their value chain compared with traditional plastics.

Future Neles Corporation, Metso's valve business, signed a distribution agreement with Axel Larsson Maskinaffär AB in Sweden. The agreement was reported on 10 January 2020.

Ståthöga MA Teknik signed an exclusivity agreement for Sweden with SPP Pumps, a European pump manufacturer, on 18 November 2019 to support customers with rotating equipment solutions.

Askalon AB becomes the new provider and service partner for former Pentair Valves & Controls products (Sempell, Keystone, Crosby and others) across Sweden, excluding the nuclear sector, effective 1 August 2017. Emerson bought the business from Pentair on April 28, 2017.
