ABB signed an agreement with Billerud to modernise Paper Machine 5 at its Gävle mill in Sweden with upgraded automation, quality control and drives. The project aims to improve efficiency, cyber security and resource use, with the date given as February 24, 2026.

Momentum Group signed an agreement to acquire 70% of Hydmos Industriteknik AB, a Stockholm maker of high-pressure hydraulic and gas systems. Closing is expected in February 2023.

Valmet will supply a Valmet IQ Web Inspection System to Stora Enso's coating and laminating plant in Forshaga, Sweden, for an extrusion coating line producing a barrier paperboard. The order was included in Valmet's third-quarter 2020 orders.
