Electrocentrale Bucuresti S.A. awarded a contract to F&C Total Grup, SITAN GRUP and ROM ENERGY ARMSTRONG for special steam regulating and injection valves for its VEST Combined Cycle plant near Bucharest, valued at about EUR 575,237.

VAT Romania officially inaugurated a new 21,000 m² production facility in VGP Park Arad, Romania, which becomes the group's third main manufacturing hub; about 50 of its 380 employees are working there so far.

Pfeiffer Vacuum Romania, a subsidiary of Germany's Pfeiffer Vacuum, completed a 13 million euro investment in a 4,500 sq m industrial pump production and repair plant in the Nervia park in Apahida, Cluj, adding 26 jobs.
