Chilean PET recycler Typack-Recipet is preparing a strategic alliance with Peruvian packaging company Colca, including a new packaging company for Peru's agricultural sector.

Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems and developer Gaz Energie signed an agreement to develop the 515 MW Humay PS natural gas power project in Peru's Ica region, using MHPS JAC gas turbines. Commercial operation is planned for 2021.
