Hidroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa awarded ANDRITZ a contract to rehabilitate the 2,075 MW Cahora Bassa hydropower plant on the Zambezi River, with an order value in the mid three-digit million-euro range. The announcement was dated 16 July 2025.

Baker Hughes, a GE company, has been awarded a second major contract for Eni East Africa's Coral South FLNG project offshore Mozambique, to supply turbo-compression trains, turbo-generation units and boil-off gas compressors. The contract was awarded in Q2 2017 by a TechnipFMC and JGC joint venture.
