ABB received an order from DS Smith Paper Italia to supply a sectional drives system, motors and inverters for a new containerboard machine PM3 at the Lucca Paper Mill in Porcari, Tuscany. The machine is expected to have annual capacity of 450,000 metric tons.

SIT, through subsidiary MeterSit, was awarded a smart gas meter contract by Italgas worth over EUR 14 million with a further EUR 5 million option, totaling EUR 19 million. The order is part of Italgas's 2019 meter roll-out.
