MGS Manufacturing announced a €7 million investment in a 20,000 sq ft extension to its Leixlip plant in Kildare, Ireland, housing cleanrooms, injection moulding machines and warehousing. The expansion is expected to create 100 new jobs.

Waddington Europe, a Novolex division, agreed with Irish recycler Shabra to purchase food-grade recycled PET for making new packaging at its Arklow production site, announced August 31, 2021.

US-based ProAmpac Holdings acquired RA Pacaisti Teo from Ludgate Investments, with plans to expand manufacturing of primary packaging for ready-to-eat foods. The company keeps its Donegal and London operations and terms were not disclosed.

Foxpak Flexibles Ltd. officially opened its new manufacturing plant in Collon, County Louth, Ireland, on 28 March 2019, after a recently completed EUR 3 million investment in new equipment and facilities.
