Nordjyllandsværket A/S awarded MAN Energy Solutions Schweiz AG a contract worth DKK 681 million (about EUR 91.3 million) for a seawater heat pump, technical installations and a 5-year service agreement in Vodskov, Denmark.

Vattenfall placed an official offshore wind turbine order with Siemens Gamesa for the Vesterhav Syd and Vesterhav Nord nearshore wind farms off Denmark's west coast. The order is part of a deal covering 113 turbines including Kriegers Flak, with construction expected to begin in 2019.

Ballard Power Systems bought the remaining shares of its Danish subsidiary Ballard Power Systems Europe A/S, formerly Dantherm Power, from Dansk Industri Invest for a nominal value, giving it 100% ownership. The subsidiary is based in Hobro, Denmark.
